Production technology: Spherical magnets can be produced
by pressing of high-refined powders (ferrites or NdFeB)
following with sintering and grinding or by balling in
specially designed granulator.
Application: As singly units
spherical magnets (SM) can be used as a source
of high gradient fields (compass, controlling component
of hermetically sealed and Hall effect based devices and
sensors). In conglameration, SM (magnet balls) work
as a special magnetic system of interacting magnetic spheres.
Conglamerated SM can be used as efficient magnetic filters
and, in particular, for magnetic treatment of various biological objects
and liquids.
Features :
- SM can be packed in filters with high density (up to
70% of working space of a filter).
-
SM can be magnetized after assembling filters.
-
SM allow an opportunity to get layers
of assigned directions of magnetic fields; at alternation
of SM layers of opposite directions of magnetic fields
the most favorable condition takes place for magnetization
of filtered liquid.
-
SM have a higher gradient of magnetic
field than magnets of other shapes.
