Features of FeCrCo magnets are beneficial combination of magnet and mechanical properties and the opportunity to manufacture magnets in sheet and wire for further forming
Mechanical (tensile)properties:
| Condition | Tensile strength, MPa | Yield strength, MPa | Impact toughness, kJ/m2 |
| As quenched | >700 | 350 | >20 |
| High coercitivity | >1000 | 48-55 | >10 |
Magnetic properties (anisotropic condition)
| Grade | Br, T | Hcb, kA/m | (BH)max, kJ/m3 |
| 22Cr15Co | 1.25-1.45 | 40-44 | 40-48 |
| 25Cr15Co | 1.2-1.25 | 40-44 | 32-36 |
| 30Cr23Co | 1.0-1.05 | 55-60 | 30-32 |
Shapes: Blocks, square rods, round rods, strips, wire
Sizes: Round rods of Dia. 2-70 mm
Strip of thickness 0.5-20 mm
Notes: Since FeCrCo alloys can be easily hot deformed and machined, there are practically no limitations of their shapes and sizes.
In particular, sheet blanks for further deep drawing of cups and washers for hysteresis motors and brakes, thin long rods (Dia 2-5 mm, L 110 mm), “cow magnets” (Dia 15-20 mm, L-50-70 mm), thin rings etc. are available
