"Nauka–M" is a spin-off small business company, based on the A.A.Baikov Institute of Metallurgy of the Russian National Academy of Science ("Nauka" is Russian word that means "Science").

The enterprise has strong connections with producers of stainless steels and super alloys.
Some processing steps of FeCrCo magnets have been performed together with Specmagnit.

Field of activity:

• Manufacture of deformed permanent magnets based on Fe-Cr-Co alloys.
• Development (together with MPEI) of new generation of synchronous hysteresis-reluctance motors based on Fe-Cr-Co magnets.
• Development of new high-speed rotating electric motors (80-100,000 rpm).
