"Magnetest" is the only Russian standardizing institution authorized for testing hard materials and permanent magnets.

Field of activity:

• Development of advanced systems of the metrological assurance in manufacturing of permanent magnets
• Development of new methods of magnetic measurements and measuring instruments
• Measurement assurance of production and delivery of the hard magnetic materials and the permanent magnets
• All kinds of magnetic measurements including tests of semi-hard magnetic materials at dynamic reversal magnetization (50 to 400 Hz)
• Testing materials of high coercivity and high energy and magnets like Sm-Co and Nd-Fe-B in all range of geometry and sizes
• Precision measurements of temperature coefficients of the magnetic parameters of permanent magnets
• Development and certification of standard reference samples of super high coercivity materials for assessment of magnetic measurement apparatus for various industries
• Participation in International "circular" comparison of measurements of hard magnetic materials ("Eurolab line" etc.)
• Participation in harmonization of domestic and International standards (MEC, SENELEC) aiming to certifying of hard magnetic materials and permanent magnets
